This month we have 3 awesome guest hoppers. Be sure to stop by their blogs and check out their awesome creations. Our guest hoppers for this month are:
Let's get started.....My first project is this multi layerd card using the "Colorings With Markers Technique":
To create the image all you need to do is grab your Stampin' Write Marker and color your image with the markers....
and before you stamp it onto your cardstock.....give it a quick "huff" like you would breathe onto a window ..... then stamp.
Card dimensions:
Base of Card - 4 1/4" x 11" Whisper White Score at 5 1/2"
Layer 1 - 4" x 5 1/4" Choice of In-Color
Layer 2 - 3 3/4" x 5" Whisper White
Layer 3 - 3 x 4 1/8" In-Color
Layer 4 - 2 3/4" x 3 7/8" Crumb Cake
Layer 5 - 2 5/8" x3 3/4" Whisper White
What do you think?.....Which is your favorite In-color? I tend to think Peekaboo Peach is my favorite.
For my project......What would go perfect for a set of cards?.....You guessed it!! A Card Holder:
This card holder can easily hold up to 10 of theses cards along with their envelopes. This is a really cute gift giving idea.
The card holder is simply made using a piece of 8 1/4" x 11 piece of cardstock.
Lay your cardstock on your Scoreboard long ways and score at 5 1/4" and 7".
Then turn and score at 1 3/4" and 6 1/2:
The ++++++ is your cut lines.
Assemble your box. Once your box is assembled, make a cut diagonally on both sides of your box to add a pretty touch.
Then you can decorate the front panel of your box. For my example above, I wanted it to match my cards so I used the same stamp set and colors.
I really hope you liked my projects and would love to hear what you think. Don't forget we do have our prize giveaway this month so don't forget to use #SFJuneHop in your comment so you can be entered into our drawing. Make sure to comment on everybodys blog in order to increase your chances.
