Team Stamp It's Stampin' Up!'s New Catalog Blog Hop

Hi Stampers!

Welcome to Team Stamp It's New Catalog Blog Hop!  This month's hop is centered around Stampin' Up!'s new catalog. Have you seen it yet? I am absolutely in love with everything in that catalog. It just gets better and better every year!

For today's hop, I am sharing with you a set of cards I created using one of the coolest stamp sets in the new catalog called One Wild Ride.  The theme of this stamp set happens to coincide with one of my favorite pastimes......

Now, let's look a little closer at each card...

Isn't that wording just super cool!!

Making these set of cards was so much fun!!!  I hope you enjoyed them. Don't forget to leave a comment before you leave and let me know what you think. When you leave a comment, include #stampitcontest so that your name can be put into our drawing for a really cool kit.

Thank you for stopping by and enjoy the rest of the hop!

Stampin Friends No Rules June Blog Hop

Welcome to the Stampin Friends June Blog Hop!  This month's theme is "No Rules".  If you're already following along with our hop, you've arrived from  Angela's Carter's wonderful blog.

Don't forget to to click the "Next" button at the bottom to continue on the hop with  Barbara Welch's awesome blog.

This month we have 3 awesome guest hoppers. Be sure to stop by their blogs and check out their awesome creations. Our guest hoppers for this month are:

Let's get started.....My first project is this multi layerd card using the "Colorings With Markers Technique":

Have you seen Stampin' Up!'s New Annual Catalog? I am absolutely in love with this stamp set called Artiscally Asian. In addition, the new In-Colors are just gorgeous. I couldn't resist so I ended making a whole set of cards with the Artiscalloy Asian Stamp Set with all the Newest In-Colors - Peekaboo Peach, Sweet Sugarplum, Emerald Envy, Dapper Denim and Flirty Flamingo.

To create the image all you need to do is grab your Stampin' Write Marker and color your image with the markers....

and before you stamp it onto your cardstock.....give it a quick "huff" like you would breathe onto a window ..... then stamp.

Card dimensions:

Base of Card - 4 1/4" x 11" Whisper White Score at 5 1/2"

Layer 1 - 4" x 5 1/4" Choice of In-Color

Layer 2 - 3 3/4" x 5" Whisper White

Layer 3 - 3 x 4 1/8" In-Color

Layer 4 - 2 3/4" x 3 7/8" Crumb Cake

Layer 5 - 2 5/8" x3 3/4" Whisper White

What do you think?.....Which is your favorite In-color? I tend to think Peekaboo Peach is my favorite.

For my project......What would go perfect for a set of cards?.....You guessed it!! A Card Holder:

This card holder can easily hold up to 10 of theses cards along with their envelopes. This is a really cute gift giving idea.

The card holder is simply made using a piece of 8 1/4" x 11 piece of cardstock.

Lay your cardstock on your Scoreboard long ways and score at 5 1/4" and 7".

Then turn and score at 1 3/4" and 6 1/2:

The ++++++ is your cut lines.

Assemble your box. Once your box is assembled, make a cut diagonally on both sides of your box to add a pretty touch.

Then you can decorate the front panel of your box. For my example above, I wanted it to match my cards so I used the same stamp set and colors.

I really hope you liked my projects and would love to hear what you think. Don't forget we do have our prize giveaway this month so don't forget to use #SFJuneHop in your comment so you can be entered into our drawing. Make sure to comment on everybodys blog in order to increase your chances.
