I love Christmas...it's my favorite holiday and being able to give gifts and hopefully see the smiles on peoples faces. Today is my boy's last day of school before winter break. Today's share is a project I worked on as a gift that my boys could take to school and give their teacher for Christmas. A Santa Candy Sleigh and a coordination Christmas Card.
For Santa's Sleigh, I took a Kit Kat Bar and wrapped Gold Trim around the bar. Glued the Kit Kat bar to the candy canes using Tear and Stick Adhesive Tape. I adhered the Hershey Nuggets onto the Kit Kat Bar and stacked them on each other using Glue Dots (I was tempted to use a Hot Glue Gun, but I decided not to in fear that the heat would melt the chocolate). For the ribbon, I grabbed the only red ribbon that I had --- Red Cotton Ribbon and I made the bow using Stampin' Up!'s Bow Builder Punch.
For the card, I used a very simple layout featuring the red stripped Designer Series Paper from Stampin' Up!'s Home for Christmas Designer Series Paper. I decided to jazz up the background and simply embossed it with the Stylish Stripes Embossing Folder. The presents are from the Your Presents Stamp Set. I will have the complete list of supplies on the bottom of my post.
Now.......It's Give Away Time!!! How would you like to win something fresh off the press from Stampin' Up!s newly released Occassions Catalog???......Play along and follow the instructions below. I love giving things away and you could be a winner!!!
