Wilderness Awakes

Hi Stampers!

Happy Aloha Friday!!! Masculine Cards..hmmm....not quite my favorite ones to make. I always worry that I end of making them to feminish. Today, I was practicing and using my Blender Pen and came up with this card share.

I embossed the background using the Boho Chic Embossing Folder. For the image, I first stamped the fox from the Wilderness Awaits Stamp Set using Black Memento Ink. I colored the fox with using Cajun Craze Classic Ink and my Blender Pen. For the ground and sky, I brought out my Work of Art Stamp Set...love how the clouds and the sky came out with those images.

A Monochromatic Awesomely Artistic

Hi Stampers!

One of my favorite cards to make are monochromatic cards. Here is one that I recently made for a card monochromatic card swap. I used Stampin' Up!'s So Saffron and  Awesomely Artistic Stamp Set.  Awesomely Artistic Stamp Set comes in both Wood or Clear mount. It also coordinates with Stampin' Up!'s Project Life Cards and Labels Framelits.  The background paper comes from Stampin' Up!'s Subtles Designer Series Paper Stack and I stamped the images using So Saffron Classic Ink.

Wild About Flowers Card....Raising The Next Generation Of Stampers!

Hi Stampers!

Today's card share is a very special share....Did you know that stamping was just not for adults?.....This Thank You card was made by my 5 year old granddaughter Kiara. Last week I got to spend the afternoon with her and she loves to come help me in my craft studio. Kiara and her brother, Kian had recently received some Holiday goodies from a family member in the Mainland. I mentioned to Kiara that "Wouldn't it be nice to make a thank you card for Su-Su to tell her how thankful you are and how much you liked your presents"....She was more than happy to be crafting in "Mama's" craft room. I whipped up a card kit using Stampin' Up!'s Wild About Flowers Stamp Set. For the we used Another Thank You. I let Kiara choose the colors and had a 1 on 1 card class with a 5 year old.

We had a great afternoon. I had a wonderful time spending some quality time with Kiara while stamping. We can certainly call this "raising the next generation of Stampers".

Here is a list of what Kiara used to make her card:

Team Stamp It Thanksgiving Blog Hop

Hi Stampers!

Wahoo!!.....It's Stamp It's October Thanksgiving Theme Blog Hop! If you are already on our hop, thank you for stopping by and visiting. You have just come from my friend Oksana Semenska's blog and wasn't her project stunning? If you are just starting out on our hop, you can simply navigate by clicking the "Previous" and "Next" buttons and I have also listed all the Blog Hop participants on the bottom of this post.

Enjoy your time here and let me share my projects with you!

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite time of the year. Roast Turkey with all the trimmings, Pumpkin Pie, Baked Yams, Cranberry Sauce, family gatherings and most of all.....it's a time of year that my family gets together and reflect back on the past year and as a family give thanks for everything.

First, I want to share with you a card I made using the beautiful Into The Woods Designer Series Paper, Into The Woods 3/8" Cotton Trim Ribbon and Lighthearted Leaves Stamp Set from Stampin' Up!'s Holiday Catalog. I love using the mix of Mossy Meadow and Blackberry Bliss--they are gorgeous together.. I embossed the background with the Woodgrain Embossing Folder and used the Lots of Label Framelits.

The next project is a really cute table favor using Stampin' Up!'s Gift Bag Punch Board.  Paper is cut 11" x 7" and used the Medium Size Bag measurements on the Punch Board.  The treat bag has a flap closure that is stapled shut using Stampin' Up!'s Handheld Stapler.

I really hope you enjoyed my Thanksgiving projects! Thank you for visiting my page. Please don't forget to leave a comment before you leave.

Now, head on over to my friend Lori Mueller's blog to see what awesome project she has created.

Cindy Waldroff

Today's Blog Hop, I am privileged to share with you two Halloween Projects.

The first project is my Howl - 0 - ween card. For this card I used Stampin' Up!'s Howl - o - ween Treat Stamp Set and had the little pumpkin cut out using the coordinating Framelits, Boo To You (The great thing about this stamp set and framelit is that when purchased together as a bundle , you save 15%). I paired this up with the Happy Haunting Designer Series Paper and added the Spider Web Doily to accessorize the card.  The full list of items used will be listed at the bottom of this post.

The second project I get to share with you is this Halloween Treat Holder using Tangelo Twist card stock, Happy Haunting Designer Series Paper and A Little Something Stamp Set. It holds quite a bit of snack size chocolates.  I made several of these to give the girls at the office for Halloween. The cutting and scoring template will be listed below.

On the long side, score at 1/2", 2-1/2", 4-1/2", & 6-1/2".
On the short side, score at 1-1/2" & 5-1/2".
Cut on the dotted lines.

To make the opening of the treat holder, I used second smallest oval from the Oval's Framelits and ran it through the Big Shot to create the opening to hold the candy treats.

I really hope you are enjoying your hop and liked my projects.

This card is so cool!!....She used the Haunt Ya Later Stamp Set (don't you just love the greeting--"Witch Way To The Candy"---adorable). The stamped image is stamped using Stazon Ink and it is stamped onto Watercolor Paper. She then used the Aqua Painter and ink to color in the image. Notice the background---the Watercolor Wash Stamp Set is used to create the cool background. The full supply list will be posted at the very bottom of this post.
