Guy Greetings Stamp It! Blog Hop

Hi Stampers!

Welcome to Team Stamp It's Mantown Theme Blog Hop! The month of June is a perfect time to create your masculine focus projects. We hope that our Blog Hop will give you great ideas and inspiration. As you hop thru, please be sure to leave comments and let us know what you think.

You should of just arrived from Elizabeth Jeanne Thatcher's Crafts By Happy Stamper's awesome project. If you just landed here - Welcome! You can navigate throughout the hop by clicking the "Next" and "Previous" buttons. Now without further is my project:

A set of cards using Stampin' Up!'s Guys Greetings Stamp Set. Here is a closer look at each card that I created:

This fun card has a little embossing done with the Stylish Stripes Embossing Folder. Note that I did not emboss the entire 1st layer of card stock. It's embossed about 3/4 of the way down. It gave the card a little bit character.

Project number 2 I used the anchor image and did several layering to emphasize the focal image.

My third and last project was super fun to make! Several multi-layered images and my favorite -- the muscle man!!....Ha Ha So cool!!  Hope you enjoyed projects. Please leave a comment -- would love to hear from you! Now, it's time to hop on over to Liz Miller's Stampin' with Liz blog. Enjoy the hop!

Watercolor Father's Day Card With The Wetlands Stamp Set

Hello Stampers!

Today I am sharing with you a Father's Day card that I made for my DH. This card is made with the fancy fold called the "Center Step Up" fold. I'll have a template on how to cut and score later in my post. The stamped image is stamped using the Wetlands Stamp Set (one of my favorite and so glad it got carried over to the new catalog).  I stamped the image using Stazon because I decided I was going to do a little water coloring. I used my Aqua Painter and did the water coloring around the bird and a bit of color was added to his feathers. The designer series paper comes from the Bohemian DSP. The greeting comes from Stampin' Up!'s Guy Greetings and stamped in Early Espresso. I think it came out pretty cool and I hope that my DH will like it.

Here is the template with the cutting and score lines:

First, your card stock needs to be cut at 4 1/4" x 11. The cut between the 1" mark and the 6 1/2" mark is 1" from the top of your card stock. Once your cutting and scoring is complete, "mountain" fold at the 1" score line and "valley" fold and the 2" score line.

Gift Bag Punch Board with 2015-2017 In Colors and Butterfly Basics

Hi Stampers!

I will be having a another stamping event next week and decided to make these adorable table favors. With the release of the NEW 2015-2016 Annual Catalog, I decided to feature the NEW 2015-2017 In Colors. So why not incorporate the two ideas and make these gift bags. The gift bags were made with the NEW Gift Bag Punch Board #135862. Later in my post I will show you how simple it is to use the punch board so you can create your very own. I dressed these bags us with the newly released Envelop Paper #138312 and stamped the butterflies using the Butterfly Basics stamp set and die cut them with Butterflies Thinlit dies (purchase them as a bundle and save 15%). It was quick to assemble and 50 of them in less then 2 hours.

Here you can see each bag:

Schoolhouse Designer Series Paper and Watercolor Words

Hi Stampers!

Summer is in full swing here in Hawaii. Boys are in their summer activities and my refrigerator and cabinets are stocked....boy did I forget how it was to have pre-teen growing boys in the home. It's only the middle of June and I have already have to do two runs to our neighborhood COSTCO to stock up---oh well, boys will be boys.

Here is my card share for you today. I love the cheerful colors that are in the Schoolhouse Designer Series Paper. The Tangerine Tango on this DSP is striking but soooo cool! I did a little embossing on the 1st layer of the card just to add a bit of a "pop". The sentiment comes from Stampin' Up!'s Watercolor Words stamp set. It's really a fun set to have and I will be sharing more cards made using that stamp set. List of supplies used will be at the bottom of this post.

The Open Sea

Hi Stampers!

Today's feature is a masculine card just in time for Father's Day. I had so much fun making this card. Count the different shapes that is used in this card?  Isn't that so cool? To make this card, I used The Open Sea Stamp Set and the sponging technique (sponging around the outer edge of the images). The sponging gives a little "pop" to the image and makes it stand out. The first layer of the card is embossed using the Triangles Embossing Folder. Hope you enjoyed today's masculine card share!

Hi Stampers!

Today's card share is a my entry into the Simply Stamp It Color Card Challenge.

Both of my twin nieces are having babies this month and one of them will be having a baby boy....pairing with card challenge with the baby theme was a perfect match.
