Congratulations Class of 2015

Hi Stampers!

Congratulations to all those that had or will be graduating this year. I don't know about you guys, but time is standing still for nobody. I swear that these young adults were just little toddlers no so long ago and now they are in their caps and gowns ready to enter new chapter in their lives.

This month, my club members made these three graduation cards using Stampin' Up!'s Class of 2015 Stamp Set (Retiring June 02, 2015)

The last card was an actual money card holder:

These were quick and fun to make. Here is the complete list of supplies used to make all three cards:

Summer Lovin Blog Hop

Aloha Everyone!

Welcome to another Team Stamp It! Blog Hop!  This month's hop is all about Summer----which happens to be one of my most favorite time of the year.  Having been born and raised in Hawaii, summers were spent on the white sandy beaches on the island of Hawaii.  If you have been already "riding the waves and surfing the hop", you have come from Elizabeth Thatcher's  cool blog Crafts By Happy Stamper. If you are just starting out, cool!!!...Welcome, put on your beach clothes, grab your surfboard and enjoy the ride!!!

When heading to the beach, what are some of the essentials needed? Sunscreen, snacks, water and of course--lip balm. Now in order to carry them all you need a beach bag right?....Here is a cool beach bag made using the NEW Bohemian Designer Series Paper (available June 02, 2015) and the Amazing Birthday Stamp Set.

Here are the instructions on how to make your very own beach bag:

1. Cut Blackberry Bliss Card Stock 3 1/2" x 6". Score at 1". Cut card stock as shown above.

2. Turn card stock over  and put sticky strip on each flap.

3.  Remove the red strip from the sticky strip and assemble the box as shown.

4. Cut Bohemian Designer Series Paper at 4" x 12".

5.  Flip it over and place Sticky Strip as shown.

6.  Adhere your Designer Series paper to your base of the bag.

7.  Cut  a piece of  1 1/4" Burlap Ribbon at 16" long. Cut the ribbon in half. Place Sticky Strip about 3" from the ends of both sides of your burlap ribbon. Do this to both pieces of your ribbon,

8.  Adhere the ribbon to both sides of our bag. Cut 1" x 12" piece of Blackberry Bliss Card Stock. Adhere sticky strip to one side of the card stock. Adhere the card stock to your bag.

9.  Stamp the It's For You image from the Amazing Birthday Stamp Set on a piece of Whisper White card stock using Delightful Dijon Classic Ink (Available June 02, 2015)  Punch out the image using the 1 1/4" Circle Punch. Punch a 1 3/8" Circle in Delightful Dijon (Available June 02, 2015). Punch a 1 3/4" Scallop Circle in Blackberry Bliss. Layer all pieces and attach to the front of your bag using a Stampin' Dimensional.
