A Mother's Day Hat Gift Idea

Hello Crafting Friends!

Tomorrow we honor the special women in our lives whom we call our "Mother".......we wanted to bless the "mom's" in our church with a little treat. Yesterday, we gathered some of the children from church and got them creating...together, we had them running the Big Shot, punching out flowers and assembling these hats. It was a lot of fun and we decided to start planning for the next celebration.

Here you can see the project using the 2013-2015 In Colors - Strawberry Slush, Pistachio Pudding, Baked Brown Sugar, Crisp Cantaloupe, and Coastal Cabana:

Here is what you will need to make this project:

Card Stock:

Sizzlits L:

Embossing Folder:

Non-Stampin' Up!:
3.25 Portion Cups with Lids

This is what the inside of the hat contains:

Matching colored M&M's. Each hat is filled with it's matching color M&M candy.

By a mere accident, my daughter Caitlyn & I stumbled on to this candy store in the small, quaint town of Hilo on the island of Hawai'i. It's about an hour's drive from where we live. From the outside you really cannot tell what you will be walking into until you enter----then it's sugar heaven.

Carolyn and her staff there was great and super helpful. If ever on the island, visit the shop and see the variety of sweets that they have available.

Wishing all Mom's out there a very Happy Mother's Day!!!
