Good Morning Stampers!
Hope everyone is having a good week so far! It's Technique Tuesday and here we are featuring the "Faux Mother of Pearl" Technique. In order to get the "Mother of Pearl" desired background look, we applied Stampin' Up!'s Frost White Shimmer paint with a crumbled piece of "Saran Wrap". What you would need to do is pour a little of the paint into a paper plate. Dab your crumbled plastic wrap into the paint. Next, dab off the excess paint onto the paper plate-the dab your Neutral color card stop. Keep repeating until you cover the entire card stock. Using a sponge, we sponged Crumb cake over the background. The image is stamped with Staz On ink colored in with Stampin' Up!'s Colored Marker. This a fun and creative technique. It gives texture with a little shine--love it!
