Nori Chicken

Hi Everyone!

Got some requests for this recipe....this makes a great "pot luck" dish for gatherings. Hope everyone enjoys it!

3# Chicken Thighs, cut into 1 1/2" chunks
4 Tablespoons Flour
8 Tablespoons Cornstarch
4 Tablespoons Sugar
1 Tablespoon Salt
5 Teaspoons Shoyu
1 1/2 Tablespoons Oyster Sauce
2 Eggs
2 Stalks Green Onions, minced
2 Cloves Garlic, minced
1 Package Sushi Nori
Oil for Frying

Cut your chicken and set aside. In a separate bowl, combine your flour, cornstarch, sugar, salt, shoyu, oyster sauce and eggs. Add in green onions and garlic and chicken. Marinate in refrigerator for at least 4 hours. Cut the Nori into 1" strips. Wrap each chicken with a piece of nori. You may use your marinated mixture to seal the end of the nori once the chicken is wrapped. Deep fry on medium heat until golden brown.

Bon appetite!...................Siara

Here is what you need:

Card Stock:
   Regal Rose (105130) 2" x 11", 1 1/2" x 2 1/4", and 1" x 2"
Whisper White (100730) 1 3/4" x 2 1/2" and Card Stock to stamp Butterfly and saying

Stamp Sets:
   Butterfly Prints (120738)
   Teeny Tiny Wish (115370)

Ink Pad:
Regal Rose Classic Ink Pad (105211)

   Butterfly (119848)
   Word Window (119847)
   1 3/4" Oval 9119855)

   5 8" Organza White Ribbon (114319)

   SNAIL Adhesive (104332)
   Sticky Strip (104294)
   Stampin Dimensionals (104430)

   Hand Pocket Sanitizer
   Velcro Dots

Cut a piece of card stock at 2" x 11".

Score at 1/2", 1 1/2", 3 1/2", 4 1/2", 6 1/2", 7 1/2" and 8 1/2".

Take a 1 3/4" Oval Punch, and cut and oval in between the 1/2" score line and 1 1/2" score line. Fold along each score line.

Stamp your greeting on a piece of Whisper White Card Stock.

Using the Word Punch Stamp, punch out your greeting.

Using SNAIL Adhesive, adhere your stamped greeting to the Sanitizer Holder.

Cut a strip of Sticky Strip and adhere it to the Sanitizer Holder (as shown above).

Align your 1/2" score line with the 6 1/2" score line and adhere together.

Cut a piece of Whisper White Card Stock 1 3/4" x 2 1/2". Cut  a piece of Regal Rose Card Stock 1 1/2" x 2 1/4". Using Snail, adhere together. Once that is complete, adhere that piece to your Sanitizer Holder. Take a piece of White Organza Ribbon and tie a knot around the Saniizerer Holder Cover flap.

Making the straps for your holder, cut 6" of White Organza Ribbon. Using Sticky Strip, adhere each end to the holder (between the 7 1/2" score line and 8 1/2" score line). I will also cut a piece of Regal Rose Card Stock 1" x 2" and adhere it to the holder to cover where we attached the ends of straps (take a look at the next picture-the strap edges or hidden).

Use "adhesive backing" Velcro dots, attach to your holder.

Using Butterfly Prints Stamp Set and Regal Rose ink, stamp a butterfly image on Whisper White Card Stock. Punch out with the Butterfly Punch. Adhere to the front of your holder with Stampin Dimensionals and there you have it......Hope you had fun!.............See you next time!......Siara

Flower Instructions

Here is what is needed to make the flowers that I’ve been sharing.
Fancy Flower Punch
Classic Ink Pad
Sponge Dauber
Mat Pack/Piercing Tool
Silver Brad
Card Stock

Punch out 3 Flowers with the Fancy Flower Punch.

Using the Sponge Dauber, Sponge the edges of all three flowers.

Feed each flower thru the crimper at least 7 times (you want to break down the paper fibers).

Peel the flowers into two parts (you will end up with 6 flowers total-these will serve as your flower's petals).

Align all 6 flowers into a “flower stack”. Using the paper piercing tool, pierce a hole through the middle of the flower stack.
Place a Silver Brad through the middle and secure.
Pinch and scrunch the petals of each flower layer  towards the middle of the flower.
Complete all layers………And there you have it! Hope you enjoyed this tutorial! Thank you for visiting my website………………..Siara

Old Fashion Glazed Ham

Hello Everyone!

Mother's Day is quickly approaching us. One of my Mother's favorite dishes is this "Old Fashion Glazed Ham" It's very moist, tender and delicious-----and very simple to make!

Half Farmer John Ham
1 20 ounce Can Pineapple Slices, juices reserved
Whole Cloves
Maraschino Cherries
3/4 Cup Light Brown Sugar
2 Tablespoons Dijon Mustard

Preheat the oven as directed on the ham package and follow the instructions for baking the ham. Remove the ham from the oven about 30 minutes before the end of the warming time.

Decoratively place the pineapple slices on top of the ham, holding them down with the whole cloves. Place a cherry in the center of each pineapple ring and secure it with a toothpick.

In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar, mustard and just enough of the pineapple juice to make a thick glaze. Spoon the glaze over the ham and continue baking for about another 30 minutes.

Remove from oven, carve and serve.

Hope everyone enjoys this segment of Siara Sweet Sensation!......................Siara
